Fees, Insurance, and Low Cost Support

General Payment & Fee Information:

We are a self-pay practice that has:

  • sliding-scale and low cost providers

  • out-of-network insurance benefit verification and claim submission services.

You can find our individual providers’ fees listed on our Team page, individual profiles, and online scheduler.

*Please note all prices are in USD*

How self-pay works:

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept debit, credit, and FSA/HSA cards. Simply add a card-on-file to your client account, and it will charged on the day of your appointment.

Insurance:

We are not an in-network provider with any insurance companies; however, many of us are out-of-network providers.

Are you unsure if you have out-of-network benefits?

We can check your benefit eligibility for you! Just click: VERIFY MY BENEFITS

If you do, we can auto-submit your claims, so that you can receive reimbursements with no extra work on your end.

Low-Cost Mental Health Support:

Our low cost services range from $40 to $80 per meeting.

Our support groups services start at $40 per meeting—please visit our Group page for more information.

Our low cost providers include:

  1. Licensed therapists with limited sliding scale availability

  2. ITC Counseling Fellows, who are advanced graduate students in the final, applied phase of their programs, collecting hours towards graduation and licensure under supervision.

  3. Mental health coaches, peer counselors, and lived experience educators: unlicensed mental health professionals with individualized specializations and training backgrounds.

The missions of our low-cost services are to:

  • make exceptional, ongoing mental health support more accessible

  • provide additional mental health support “scaffolding” for folks who would not otherwise invest in a higher level of psychotherapeutic care, or in cases in which more frequent or alternative supports can benefit and supplement such care—for instance peer support, coaching, or accountability check-ins.

Scope of low-cost services:

We do not provide:

  • emergency or crisis services

  • stand-alone document preparation or assessment services

  • services in contexts where there are significant safety risks, instability, or acute and highly urgent mental health concerns that require a higher level of care.
